"In both Life and in sport, we row hard. Rowing is not for the faint of heart, but for determined men and women."

George mason Crew Club is a co-ed, student run, competitive team that was established in 1981. We actively travel to both fall and spring regattas and have medalled at Knecht Cup, Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships, American Collegiate Rowing Association National Championships, and more. We row out of the Sandy Run Regional Park at the Occoquan Reservoir, and annually host the Occoquan Sprints in the spring and the Occoquan Chase in the fall.

Currently, we practice every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:00pm – 4:00pm, and Saturday from 9:00am – 11:30am. We accept rowers and coxswains from all backgrounds all year round. You are not required to have any past experience, since our Crew Club hosts an annual “Learn To Row Day” for George Mason University students in the beginning of the fall semester, but if you are unable to attend you are always able to come to any practice and learn.
